About The Market

What makes our Hamilton Farmers Market unique is our rule that vendors must live in Ravalli County and their fine products, whether grown or handmade, are created here in Montana.

We are truly a local economy supporting and serving the folks of Montana and guests visiting our beautiful valley.

Hamilton Farmers Market is a cooperative with more than 130 member vendors.

Our Ravalli County farm and garden vendors offer only fresh vegetables grown from non GMO seed.

Eggs, cheese, honey, emu meat and locally raised beef are also offered.

Tasty prepared food vendors cook a wide variety of freshly baked goods, jellies and sauces, as well as hot meals like tacos, burritos, and pulled pork and flatbread sandwiches. Bagels cooked to order and sausage on a bun too!

There's coffee and espresso, lemonade & smoothies!

Our many talented artists and craftspeople sell a delightful selection of beautiful, functional and enduring handmade items from unique jewelry to locally harvested wood furniture. From colorful aprons to sparkly sun catchers!

Come enjoy the fruits of our labor from our farms and gardens, our studios and kitchens!

Our Services

Bart Pickard, friend of the Market, gone but not forgotten, continues to support us.Wife Sheri donated his Market booth umbrellas and they now shade two of our picnic tables, providing a pleasant dining space in the new north Third St food court.

Thanks Sheri!

“Grab it & Go, Meal in a Bag” shopping bags are now offered free to all WIC participants. Pick up yours with a handy recipe card at our local WIC office on 205 Bedford St.

New customer service provided by the Market:  wagons for carrying large purchases like plants or furniture to your vehicle. These were donated by Rod Daniel and Katrina Mendrey of the County Extension Master Gardeners.  Please ask for Jody at the Info booth. He will help haul your items.  Sorry, though they are cute, wagons are not available for carrying kids through the Market.

We offer a variety of services at the Market for your shopping convenience:  Produce vendors at Hamilton Farmers Market do accept WIC and Senior Food Coupons and SNAP tokens.

Customers can apply for WIC assistance at the Ravalli County WIC Program office at 205 Bedford St, Suite O, Hamilton, MT, or by calling (406) 375-6685.

Qualifying seniors can pick up Senior Food Coupons in June at the Ravalli County Council on Aging, 310 Old Corvallis Rd, Hamilton, MT.  For more information call (406) 363-5690.

Customers with SNAP food cards can pick up shopping tokens at the Market’s Information Booth, found on Bedford St. in front of the Ravalli County Museum, for produce and other food purchases. SNAP applications can be obtained from the Ravalli County Office of Public Assistance, 310 N. 3rd St, Hamilton, MT.  For more information call (406) 363-1944.

Credit Card Purchases: Since not all of our vendors have credit card machines, the Market Information Booth can swipe VISA, MasterCard or Discover cards and issue tokens for purchases at any Hamilton Farmers Market vendor booth. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide cash for these swipes or to redeem tokens for money.  Tokens have an unlimited time for purchasing and can be used whenever you next shop at the Market.
